Le prix World Fantasy
Ce sont les inscrits à la World Fantasy Convention qui dressent la liste des nominés de ce prix. Le lauréat est ensuite choisi par des juges. Seules sont éligibles des personnes vivantes. La récompense consiste en un buste de Howard Phillips Lovecraft confectionné par l'artiste Gahan Wilson, de telle sorte que le World Fantasy Award est parfois appelé le Howard Award
